Completed in 2008, this three storey building located on South Melbourne occupies a corner site with a northerly aspect across to the Westgate freeway flyover to the Melbourne CBD. The design includes basement car-parking, a ground floor café, three levels of offices and a roof top terrace, which houses garden planter beds and a bee hive. The agricultural pallet of materials, sandblasted concrete, iron bark plantation timber screens, galvanised steel and glass respond dynamically to the urban context in terms of function and aesthetic.
